摘要 <p>PURPOSE: An active matrix substrate and an electromagnetic wave detector are provided to minimize adverse effects of trapped charges between pixel electrodes by irradiating more light to fall on a gap between the pixel electrodes bridging signal lines wider than scanning lines. CONSTITUTION: An active-matrix substrate(1) includes a substrate, a signal line(18), a scanning line(12), a switching element(4), and a pixel electrode(21). The signal line and the scanning line form a lattice on the substrate. The switching element and the pixel electrode are provided for each unit lattice of the signal line and the scanning line. The pixel electrode does not overlap the signal line and the scanning line, and satisfies a relation X1>Y1, where X1 is a gap between the pixel electrode and the signal line, and Y1 is a gap between the pixel electrode and the scanning line.</p>
