PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system and the like which allow an operator to perform the next operation without waiting for output.SOLUTION: In this embodiment, an agent always performs polling to a Web server 200, the Web server checks whether or not there is a print instruction sent to the agent referring to an instruction work table on the basis of an agent ID included in the polling from the agent, acquires document binary data associated with the print instruction referring to a document work table when the print instruction is present, acquires print setting data associated with the agent ID referring to a printer setting master on the basis of the agent ID, and transfers the acquired document binary data and print setting data to the agent. The agent changes a print status of the instruction work table from "unprocessed" to "printing" for performing printing when the print setting data and document binary data can be acquired.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
