PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deviation in timing of changing an image to be displayed by each display device when a multi-screen display is made using a plurality of display devices.SOLUTION: Slave devices 100b, 100c and 100d of a display system 1 each comprise: a signal generation part 103 which starts generating a slave timing signal at predetermined intervals with a timing a reference, which is based upon an instruction received from a master device 100a; a communication part 115 which transmits to the master device 100a, a notice of completion indicating that a slave image is ready to display; and a display part 120 which displays the slave image in synchronization with a slave timing signal corresponding to a display instruction received from the master device 100a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
