<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business form data server which can generate business form data complying with a variety of request from a client, without complicated programming, and to provide an electronic business form system using the server. <P>SOLUTION: A server 10 generates business form data, complying with a request from a client 20 and transmits the data. On the basis of a business form data request, a request data analysis section 131 generates a business form information file, in which business form generation information, including information groups specifying components of the business form data, is described by XML. The business form generation information file is interpreted by a data-collecting/combining processing section 132 having an XML application 133, and the business form data are generated, by collecting and combining the components of the business form data.
