PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an illumination device capable of sufficiently ensuring the radiation performance of a light source while suppressing the degradation in the performances of components due to the heat of the light source.SOLUTION: An illumination device comprises: a hollow main body exhibiting heat conductivity; a light source having at least one semiconductor light-emitting element; an additional member; and an adiabatic member. The light source is thermally connected to the main body. The additional member has a heat-resistant temperature different from that of the light source and is accommodated in the main body. The adiabatic member is configured to partition the main body into a region thermally connected to the light source, and at least one different region thermally connected to the additional member and thermally separated from the former region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
