PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch pad device that includes an illumination function capable of illumination without a light guide.SOLUTION: A touch pad device comprises: an operation unit 10 that has an operation face 10a on which an operator implements a proximity operation, and an illumination unit 10b arranged on the operation face 10a; a first substrate 20 that has a first face 20a and a second face 20b on either side, in which the first face 20a is arranged along the operation face 10a, and the first face 20a is provided with a detection unit for detecting the proximity operation; and a support member 30 that integrally supports the operation unit 10 and the substrate 20. The first substrate 20 is provided so as not to overlap the illumination unit 10b in a plane view from the operation face 10a, a light source 25 is arranged on a side of the second face 20b of the first substrate 20 in the vicinity of the illumination unit 10b for outputting light to a side of the support member 30, and a reflection unit 30d is provided at a position opposing the light source 25 of the support member 30 for reflecting the light output from the light source 25 in a direction toward the illumination unit 10b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
