PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas circuit breaker having a bidirectional driving mechanism that has high design flexibility, is space-saving and is highly reliable.SOLUTION: A bidirectional driving mechanism part 10 for a gas circuit breaker comprises: a driving side connection rod 11; a driven side connection rod 13; two levers 12 connecting them; and a guide 14 regulating operations of the driving side connection rod 11 and the driven side connection rod 13. A movable pin 18 is caused to communicate with each of a first groove cam 16 of the driving side connection rod 11s, a second groove cam 17 of the guide 14, and third groove cams 19 of levers 12, the levers 12 are turned by operation of the driving side rod 13 causing the movable pin 18 to move in each of the groove cams 16, 17, 19, so that the driven side connection rod 13 is driven in the opposite direction to the driving side connection rod 11, and a driven side arc electrode 5 is driven in the opposite direction to a driving side arc electrode 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
