PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming a wavelength conversion film, from which such a wavelength conversion film can be formed that has high flexibility in designing materials and suppresses aggregation of quantum dots in a curing process and a production method of a wavelength conversion film, and to provide a wavelength conversion film having excellent light emission efficiency while having little aggregation of quantum dots, a wavelength conversion member, a backlight unit, and a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: The composition for forming a wavelength conversion film of the present invention is to be used for obtaining a wavelength conversion film by applying the composition on a substrate to form a coating film and then curing the coating film. The composition comprises at least quantum dots, a volatile component, a binder that is dissolvable in the volatile component and/or a binder precursor that is dissolvable in or compatible with the volatile component, and the composition can be gelatinized in the presence of the volatile component.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
