According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for preventing wrongful use of a check card by a card company server comprises the steps of: receiving an approval request using the check card from a member store terminal; confirming whether there is a disapproval history due to a lack of account balance, based on details of use of the check card, to determine whether wrongful use of the check card for the approval request is likely to occur; and denying the approval request when it is determined that the wrongful use of the check card for the approval request is likely to occur. |
