[Problem] To appropriately control processing load of each site according to the volume of data at each site, executing efficient data processing. [Solution] Provided is a storage management system, comprising a plurality of first storage devices which accepts data input/output requests, and a second storage device which is connected to the plurality of first storage devices. The first storage devices further comprise a storage unit which stores data, and a control unit which, causing parallel processing of a plurality of threads which configures a program, controls data input/output processes in response to the input/output requests and controls processes, based on a prescribed policy, of moving the data to the second storage device. The second storage device further comprises a storage unit which stores data, and a control unit which allots to each of the plurality of first storage devices, according to the data volume of the plurality of first storage devices when the input/output processes and the movement processes are executed, the plurality of threads which causes the input/output processes or the movement processes to be executed. |
