摘要 This disclosure relates to a solid-state imaging element, a driving method, and an electronic device which make it possible to suppress color mixing of a phase difference detection signal into an imaging signal. The invention of this disclosure is provided with: a pixel region in which a plurality of pixels in each of which a first photoelectric conversion unit that photoelectrically converts visible light in a first wavelength range, and a second photoelectric conversion unit that photoeletrcially converts visible light in a second wavelength range are formed at different depths when viewed from a cross-section direction; and a driving unit which performs driving for reading, from the pixel, a pixel signal of a level corresponding to an electric charge generated in each of the first photoelectric conversion unit and the second photoelectric conversion unit. The pixel is configured with the first photoelectric conversion unit and/or the second photoelectric conversion unit being divided when viewed from a planar direction. This technology is applicable, for example, to a solid-state imaging element capable of detecting an imaging plane phase difference.
