PURPOSE: A fluorescence-labeled peptide for CDK 2 or 4 protein kinase assay and a CDK 2, 4 protein kinase assay using the same are provided, thereby rapidly and easily detecting activity of CDK 2 or 4, so that development of inhibitors of CDK 2 or 4 can be activated. CONSTITUTION: The fluorescence-labeled peptide for CDK(cyclin dependent kinase) 2 or 4 protein kinase assay comprises the amino acid sequence of Rb protein which is phosphorylated by CDK 2 and 4 in the amino terminal, and 870th to 875th amino acids, KPLKKL, of the Rb protein binding with CDK 2 and 4 in the carboxy terminal, and has the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:4. The CDK 2, 4 protein kinase assay comprises the steps of: labeling the peptide for CDK(cyclin dependent kinase) 2 or 4 protein kinase assay with fluorescence; reacting the fluorescence-labeled peptide with CDK 2 or 4 protein kinase; subjecting the reaction completed fluorescence-labeled peptide to electrophoresis to separate phosphorylated peptide and unphosphorylated peptide; and measuring the amount of phosphorylated peptide. |
