PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode module capable of attaining a desired optical effect, while suppressing the cost, without requiring various lenses of different standards.SOLUTION: A light-emitting diode module 10 has a substrate 100, and a plurality of light-emitting packages 102. Each light-emitting package 102 has an optical wavelength conversion layer 106 and a light-emitting diode 104, and the light-emitting diode has a first light exit surface 104A, a junction surface 104B, and a second light exit surface 104C. The junction surface is the opposite side to the first light exit surface, and connected with a substrate. The second light exit surface is between the first light exit surface and the junction surface. The optical wavelength conversion layer covers the first and second light exit surfaces of the optical wavelength conversion layer. The distance from the junction surface to the upper surface 106A of the optical wavelength conversion layer represents the total thickness T of a light source. The distance between two adjoining light-emitting package represents the interval D of the light sources. In particular, the ratio (D/T) of the interval D of the light sources and the total thickness T of a light source is between 1-6.3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
