<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network printing system enabling a person to easily know the end of other people's copy job. <P>SOLUTION: This network printing system comprises a personal computer 2, a digital composite machine 1 and a mail server 3, which are mutually connected through a network 4. The digital composite machine 1 has an operation means 11 having the function of registering a user ID and the E-mail address of the user ID in a storage means 12 and the function of performing the reservation setting of copying function; a transmitting and receiving means 13 for performing transmitting and receiving of E-mails; and a control means 14 having the function of reporting, in the end of the copying function under use, a usable mail of copying function to the designated user ID from the transmitting and receiving means 13.
