<p>The precision metering device consists of a reservoir (1) connected to a piston pump (3). The pump is fitted with a non-return inlet valve (6) and a non-return valve (7) on the delivery side. On the output line (9) is a pressure sensor (10) positioned between the outlet valve and a pressure valve (8). The sensor has a transmitter connected to a control unit (12). On the pressure (delivery) stroke of the pump, the pressure rises and then falls to a value just below that set by the maintaining valve (8). If the pressure is considerably below or above the set pressure, the sensor transmits a signal to the control unit.</p> |
