The invention relates to a bar counter or a large drinks cabinet 1 resting against a support surface 2 and having a horizontally orientated rest plate 3 having an upper rest surface 3' designed to be able to support utensils necessary for the serving of drinks, two vertical end sections 4,5 extending from the rest plate, a front plate 6 extending from the rest plate 3 and, disposed beneath the rest plate 3, a number of shelves 7,8 which are directed away from the front plate and are open towards the rear, further to which the said shelves 7,8 are arranged to connect to a horizontally disposed partition 9. The said partition 9 is orientated within a middle region of the bar counter and the rest plate 3 and the front plate 6 is in its lower section 6a rotatably fastened by means of a rotation axle 10,11 to a respective end face section 4,5 in such a way that the said front plate 6 is thereby able to assume a first position, a vertical position, and a second position, a horizontal position. The distance ôdö between the partition 9 and the front plate 6, when the front plate 6 assumes its first position, is suitably greater than a mattress thickness, and means 13 are in place for locking the front plate 6 in its second, horizontal position. <IMAGE> |
