摘要 PURPOSE:To restrain the heat generation and electromagnetic force due to an eddy current by a method wherein the heat pipes using nitrogen, argon and these miltielement fluid as a working fluid are adopted as heat transfer elements filling the role of thermal output and input between a thermal shield plate and a refrigerator in a cryostat. CONSTITUTION:The applicable temperature of heat pipes 4 using the fluidity, evaporation and the latent heat of condensation of a working fluid is limited to the range between the freezing point and the critical point of the working fluid. Whithin a conventional superconductive magnet, the temperatures of a liquid nitrogen layer 5 and a thermal shield plate 3 are to be restricted respectively to about 78k and 100k. For example, when binary fluid of argon-nitrogen is used, the applicable temperature range of the working fluid is to be about 70-130k. Through these procedures, the temperature of the thermal shield plate 3 can be restricted to low temperature by adopting the heat pipes 4 using the binary working fluid of argon-nitrogen even if the thermal shield plate 3 is formed of a high electrical resistance material to avert the effect of an eddy current.
