<p>The plug allows an electric or telephone cable (2) to be sealingly fitted in a circular opening (4) through which the cable must pass. It comprises a hollow body (5) consisting of two half-shells to be fitted around the cable (2) and incorporating at least two jaws (6, 7) held radially in said body (5), each having a central opening (10, 11) for receiving the cable (2) and radially contacting this cable when the two half-shells are clamped together. The two jaws together define a chamber (12) to be filled with a sealing compound. The hollow body (5) comprises means for removably and sealingly securing it to the said circular opening (4) through which the cable passes.</p> |
