PURPOSE:To qualitatively measure a radioactive contamination over a relative wide range in a convenient way and to discriminate a king of radioactive radiation as necessary. CONSTITUTION:A cooled CCD camera 2 is positioned facing a scintillator sheet 1A closely applied on an object to be measured, for picking up slight light emitted from the scintillator sheet 1A so as to measure the distribution of radioactive contamination. In order to specify a radioactively contaminated position, a position marker 14 is provided on the scintillator sheet 1A. In order to discriminate a kind of radioactive radiation, two scintillator sheets 1A, 1B are superposed with each other so as to measure the radioactive radiation.
