The belt runners are formed from a pair of symmetrical pulleys (P1,P2) either face to face or back to back. Each pulley has two cylindrical axial portions, the first (1)of largest diameter and length forming the external rim which takes the belt (C). The second cylindrical portion (2) of smaller diameter and shorter constitutes the interior hub mounting of the rollers. The cylindrical portions are joined by a truncated portion (3) which is joined to the first cylindrical portion (1) by a rounded toroidal strip. The toroidal strip reduces laterally to form a circular crown on its external surface coaxial with the cylinders and situated in a plane perpendicular to the cylinder axes. ADVANTAGE - Provides better belt support. |
