PURPOSE:To measure the composition of a condensing can internal solution in salt manufacturing process on-line at real time by providing each ion selective electrode of chloride ion, calcium ion, divalent positive ion, and potassium ion. CONSTITUTION:A bypass 2 is provided on the piping part to a crystallizing can of a condensing can internal solution, and an electrode 8 is set there. A measuring part 4 is formed of four ion selective electrodes (responding to chloride ion, calcium ion, divalent positive ion, and potassium ion, respectively), four reference electrodes, a temperature sensor 10 for temperature compensation, and an ion meter 12 for electrode potential measurement. An arithmetic part 6 is formed of a computer 14 for conducting a calculation on the basis of the electrode potential obtained from the ion meter 12 and the solution temperature obtained from the temperature sensor 10, and calculating various ion concentrations. Thus, the optimum control of the crystallizing process in salt manufacturing process can be automatically performed to allow a stable production of the product. |
