PURPOSE:To prevent a useless call of a pocket pager by calling out the pocket pager only when a message is recorded for a prescribed time or longer. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic answering mode, a circuit control part 2 automatically receives a call and sends an answer message. A recording/reproducing part 8 records the message on a magnetic tape, etc. A 1st time counting part 4 counts the recording time covering the end of the message through the ring-off. A 2nd time counting part 6 counts the voiced recording time to the message higher than a prescribed level based on the signal received from a level comparing part 7. A deciding part 3 sends a pocket pager call deciding signal to the part 2 when the recording times counted by both parts 4 and 6 are longer than a prescribed time. |
