<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent printing apparatus and its printer driver program which enable a user to easily and visually confirm print setting items of the printing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In a printing apparatus 10 before starting printing, a controlling unit 220 displays a print setting window in the display unit 210, and print data are printed based on the print setting data which are set from an input unit 210 in accordance with the print setting window. When the print setting window is displayed in the display unit, the controlling unit displays three-dimensional image of the entirety or a part of the printing apparatus in the window, and the controlling unit collects the already set print setting data about each part of the printing apparatus and displays an animated image showing those print setting data in the display unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
