<p>The machine tool, such as a stamping machine, has at least one machining station together with at least one feed device (5) enabling at least one workpiece (12) and/or at least one tool (14) to be movably driven in the direction of a movement axis (x) relatively to the machining station. The feed device has at least one directional guide (6) with a support structure (8). On the support structure, at least one holding device (11) for a workpiece and/or at least one holding device for a tool are provided for movable drive in the direction of the movement axis. The directional guide has several guide units (10) and each holding device for a workpiece and/or tool is attributable to a part of the guide units.</p> |
