<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity of punching work by carrying a paper sheet at first speed to a punching position, performing punching processing on the carried paper sheet, and carrying the punching processing-performed paper sheet at second speed faster than the first speed. SOLUTION: A paper sheet carried in an aftertreatment device is carried at fixed carrying speed A by paper sheet carrying rollers 10b and 10c driven in rotation by a first driving motor 15, and the tip of the paper sheet passes through a paper sheet punch 12, and is carried by a paper sheet carrying roller 10d driven in rotation by a second driving motor 29. When indication to reduce speed is given from a microprocessor, rotation of the second driving motor 29 becomes slow, and the paper sheet is carried at speed slower than the fixed carrying speed A, and after a specific time, rotation stops.
