PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic image forming method capable of increasing the degree of adhesion between an image carrier and a recording medium. SOLUTION: This method feeds a recording medium 11 to space between an image carrier 426 and transfer means 454 laid so as to be faced thereto, and transfers a toner image formed on the image carrier 426 to the surface of the recording medium 11 via the transfer means 454. Then, an electrostatic image forming process takes place for transferring the toner image to the reverse side of the recording medium 1. In this case, separate values are set between transfer current fed to the transfer means 454 at the time of transferring the image to the front end of the upper surface the recording medium 1, and transfer current fed to the transfer means 454 at the time of transferring the image to the front end of the reverse side of the recording medium 11. |
