Underfloor central heating system

The system has tubular heaters (20), supplied with heated water from eg. a boiler or a steam plant (12). The heater is formed as a grating, which may be walked on, and is placed on the floor of the room (16) to be heated. Heat is discharged upwards by the heater, by radiation and convection. The heater is formed from steel tubing. A grating may be located above it and people (22) who are cold may rest on this grating. The heater is connected to the heat source via flexible conduits, preferably a metal hose, and it may be moved from place to place. A mixer valve mixes heating fluid feed (14) with fluid return (24), to adjust the temperature of the heater.
