PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a battery pack, and lighten weight to the upmost limit while safety and durability as the pack are being maintained. SOLUTION: An electronic circuit part 28 for controlling the charging/ discharging condition of a battery main body 12, is adhered to one side surface 72 of the rectangular type battery main body 12 so as to be disposed, and concurrently a plus side electrode 90a and a minus side electrode 90b are extended toward the upper end face 18 and lower end face of the main body 12 respectively. Furthermore, when the mounting face 72 of an electronic part and the upper and lower surfaces, are to be mounted, the electronic circuit part 28 and lead wire portions 92 running to the electrodes, can be protected by a protection member 16 which is formed into a U shape in such a way that their outer circumferential surfaces are continuous to the outer circumferential surfaces of the main body 12. |
