PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch surely lighting off a display neon lamp in the open state of the switching portion of a switch mechanism portion. SOLUTION: This switch is equipped with an operation means that switches a switch mechanism portion 2 rockably supported by a switch body and contained in the switch body with rocking, and a display neon lamp N1 provided in parallel with the operation means so as to be contained in the switch body, blinking with the switching state of the switch mechanism portion 2, one end of which is connected in series to one end of a current limiting protection resistor R1. An AC power source AC is applied to the neon lamp via the switching portion of the switch mechanism portion 2, and lighting-on is displayed in the closing state of the switching portion, and lighting-off, in the opening state of the switching portion. A bypass resistor R2 bypassing a high frequency component contained in the AC power source AC is added between the other end of the neon lamp N1 and the other end of the protection resistor R1.
