PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering method for a metal base material with a titanium sheet without using a hold plate for a titanium sheet or a L shaped titanium fixing member and capable of surely/easily, and with good workability, covering a titanium sheet in excellent adhesion. SOLUTION: A fixing titanium sheet 3 to fix a covering titanium sheet 2 is fixed to a surface of a metal base material 1, an end part of one of a covering titanium sheet 2 and an end part of other of a covering titanium sheet 2a, which are adjacent at both sides of the fixing titanium sheet 3, are overlapped, one of the covering titanium sheet 2 and the other of a covering titanium sheet 2a are continuously welded/fixed to the fixing titanium sheet 3. Or an end part of one of the covering titanium sheet 2 is overlapped on the fixing titanium sheet 3 and continuously/intermittently welded/fixed by seam welding, an end part of other of the covering titanium sheet 2a is overlapped on an end part of one of the covering titanium sheet 2 and continuously welded/fixed by seam welding. |
