SEALED ELECTROCHEMICAL BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical battery with contains at least one sealed integral container formed of polymer material excellent in mechanical characteric and hydrogen impermeability. SOLUTION: In this battery, a sealed integral container contains 1-50 cells, each of which contains an electrochemical electrode assembly. Polymer material contains at least 95 wt.% polypropylene and remaining propylene-ethylene copolymer to cover 100 wt.%. The material is characterized by the cystallinity of polypropylene (measured by X-ray diffraction) being 55-65%.
