PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve storage stability of a recording image and to especially make plasticizer resistance and water resistance excellent by laminating a heat-sensitive color developing layer contg. a leuco dye and a developer comprising a specified phenolic compd. as main ingredients on a substrate and forming a heat-sensitive recording material. SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive color developing layer contg. a leuco dye and a developer for developing color of the leuco dye by heating is laminated on a substrate to form a heat-sensitive recording material. As the developer, a compd. of formula I (wherein X is a hydrocarbon group, an alkoxy group, a halogen atom or a hydrogen atom; n is an integer of 1-3; m is an integer of 0-2; p is an integer of 0-2; q is an integer of 1-10; r is an integer of 1-10; and t is an integer of 0-21) is used or a phenolic compd. of formula II (wherein X, n, m, p, q, r and t are each the same as the formula I and s is an integer of 0-21) or formula III (wherein X, n, m, p, q, r, and t are each the same as the formula I) may be used. It is possible to improve storage stability of a recording image by using these developers. |
