<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink absorbing body which can prevent the fingers or a manufacturing machine from being stained with ink by avoiding contact of the fingers or the machine with a fiber-bundled body impregnated with the ink as much as possible even if the fingers or the machine accidentally gets into contact with the end part of the ink absorbing body at the time of handling the ink absorbing body. <P>SOLUTION: The end part of a covering body is protruded further from the end part of the fiber-bundled body. The end part of the covering body protruded further from the end part of the fiber-bundled body and impregnated with the ink is gripped at the time of handling the ink absorbing body or the like. Also, the end part of the covering body further protruded from the end part of the fiber-bundled body can function as a wall to suppress the contact with the end part of the fiber-bundled body so that the chances of causing the fiber-bundled body to get into contact with the other objects can be reduced to the utmost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
