The strip is used to seal the gap at a junction between a bulkhead and a steel baffle plate. The assembly (1) consists of a longitudinal strip (2) of rubber or synthetic rubber. The edges of the strip are folded back over magnetic side strips (3) and fastened. The strip assembly has an eyelet (6) which is hooked over a support pin at the top of the junction. The strip is pressed down into the angle between the steel plates, so that the magnetic strips hold the edges to the plates.
