<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interruption of data transmission by controlling so as to maintain a path set by call control through a signal line when the signal line fault is detected. SOLUTION: A signal control part 15 receives a signal line fault notification from a signal terminal device 13, and notifies a call control part 18 of the signal fault occurrence. A speech path control part 16 receives a path set or a path release request from the call control part 18 and requests a switch 11 and a line device 12 to perform the path set or release. The speech control part 18 receives a path set request or a path release request notified by a protocol control part 17 and instructs the speech path control part 16 to set or release a path. Also, when a signal line fault notification is received from the signal control part 15, it is judged whether or not it is possible to retain the path. Moreover, an operation administration maintenance(OAM) cell transmission request is made of an OAM control part 14. Thus, a set path is retained by an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) exchange 10 for performing call control such as the path set or the path release.</p> |
