The invention concerns a cleaning device (12) comprising a cleaning head (13) operating by liquid jets (19) consisting of a nozzle-block (20) having a conical front part (20a) and a rear part (20b) whereof the transverse cross-section perpendicular to the nozzle block (20) axial direction matches in shape an undulation constituting one part at least of the channel and with smaller dimensions. The device (12) further comprises means for supplying liquid under pressure (16, 17, 18) and a flexible conduit (14) connected by one first end to the nozzle-block (20) and by a second end to means supplying cleaning liquid under pressure (16, 17, 18). The nozzles (22a-22j) are mounted on the nozzle-block (20), so as to produce cleaning liquid jets (19) towards the front and following the nozzle-block (20) axis, towards the front and towards the rear in a direction sloping towards the undulation and in an opposite direction towards an opposite surface of the channel.
