摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keypad assembly mechanism, which uses an in-mold key mat with high mechanical independence between adjacent keys and with key strokes which are large enough to provide comfortable touch, without the possibility of the keys being depressed by pressure on a casing. SOLUTION: A keypad assembly mechanism is provided comprising a key mat 110, a switch assembling part 11, and an intermediate component member 160 located between the key mat 110 and the switch assembling part 11. The intermediate component member 160 has an opening, which cooperates with the keys 111 of the key mat 110 and an elastic member is attached thereto and extends to the opening. When either of the keys 111 of the key mat 110 is depressed, the pressure is transmitted to the key dome of the switch assembling part 11 via the elastic member.
