PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aluminum alloy material whose mechanical strength is larger than that of an existing material 6063 alloy, having an approvable strength of adhesion after a corrosion test and excellent moldability and chemical treatability. SOLUTION: This is an aluminum alloy which consists of >2.6 wt.% to <=5.0 wt.% Si, >0.3 wt.% to <=2.0 wt.% Fe >0.3 wt.% to <=2.0 wt.% Cu, >0.1 wt.% to <=1.5 wt.% Mn, >0.1 wt.% to <=1.0 wt.% Mg, >0.2 wt.% to <=1.0 wt.% Zn, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities and the roughness of at least one surface of which is not smaller than 2μm at Ra and not smaller than 20μm at Rmax.
