<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device capable of correctly outputting color space information in image data creation. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 31 of a color printer 20 executes gamma correction and matrix calculation M to image data of an RGB color space obtained by calculation of a matrix S. The CPU 31 executes a gamma conversion process to image data by using a set gamma correction value. The matrix calculation M is a calculation process for converting the RGB color space into an XYZ-based color space. When the matrix calculation M is executed, the CPU 31 refers to a Print Matching tag in order to reflect a color space in creating the image data, and the matrix calculation is executed by using a matrix (M) corresponding to the written color space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
