PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter device for suspension, which is capable of treating the suspension of granular materials such as sludge of concrete or the like or slime in a drainage ditch to separate into sludge and environmentally safe water. SOLUTION: This filter device is provided with a filter vessel 4 having an opening part, in which the suspension 3 is introduced, a filter media 5 mounted in the filter vessel 4, a transporting means for sucking and moving the suspension 3 into the filter media 5 mounted in the filter vessel 4 and a neutralization means for neutralizing the filtrate.
