PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closet with a handrail for a hall and a shield plate which avoides a visitor's eye to a room when the visitor enters a part near the entrance of the hall and does not deteriorate the fine view of the hall without requiring a wall corner space of the hall. SOLUTION: The closet with the handrail for the hall is an accommodation closet disposed in the hall 2 of a building such as a residence. A longitudinal partition plate 4 for dividing an accommodation plate 3 into right and left parts protrudes from a closed door 5 of the accommodation closet 1. The handrail 6 is provided in the side end part of the longitudinal partition plate 4.
