PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent other trays from being pulled out as the desired tray is drawn out of a disk cartridge. SOLUTION: A disk auto-changer is provided with the disk cartridge having a plurality of trays supporting a disk, an elevator arrange at the side of the disk cartridge, an elevating control mechanism raising/lowering the elevator in a position corresponding to the desired tray, and a stopper 9 which is arranged between the disk cartridge and the elevator, permits the desired tray to slip out of the disk cartridge and be drawn into an elevator side and prevent the other tray from slipping out of the disk cartridge. The stopper 9 is composed of a belt 162 having a notch part 161 permitting the passage of one tray and a belt driving means 163 moving the notch part 162 to the position of the desired tray in synchronizm with the raising/lowering of the elevator.
