<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which is inexpensive, has low torque, can be made small and stably output images over a long period of time without causing image failure such as unevenness in density especially in a half tone image, and to provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device 10 has a developing container 4, a developer carrier 1, and a developer feeding member 2 which is installed facing the developer carrier 1 and feeding developer to the developer carrier 1 under applied voltage. In the developing device 10, in which voltage is applied to the developer feeding member 2 so that the potential difference between the developer feeding member 2 and the developer carrier 1 is larger than the discharge inception voltage and, at the same time, the current of the same polarity as the electrification polarity of the developer flows from the developer feeding member 2 to the developer carrier 1, the developer feeding member 2 is oscillated by an oscillating means for oscillating the developer feeding member 2 within a specified period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
