摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid economic deterioration accompanied by assembling of a locking mechanism for locking a piston rod in a stroke end of an advancing side in order to fix a landing gear in a descending position where the gear is pulled out from the body of an airplane. SOLUTION: A piston 12 in a cylinder 11 is fixed in the locking position by means of a plurality of locking segments 26. The plurality of the locking segments 26 are maintained in the cylinder side so that the locking segments pass through the cylinder 11 in a radial direction and is also movable in its radial direction, and the segments are also engaged with the inside of the piston 12 in the state where they are moved to the center side, and they are further separated from the inside of the piston 12 in the state where they are moved to the outer peripheral side. Upon arranging a plurality of the locking segments 26 in the cylinder side, it is avoided that the locking segments 26 are contacted with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder 11, and hardening treatment to the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder becomes unnecessary.
