PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile communication method with which a circular source can surely grasp the conditions of circular transmission and the line of the circular source is not occupied for a long time to receive notification of circular transmission passage. SOLUTION: This facsimile communication method is a method for sequentially performing circular transmission of image data from the circular source to a plurality of circular destinations B1, B2, B3 and Bn, when a circular destination receives the image data and a circular destination count value from the circular source or the previous circular destination, the circular destination counts up the circular destination count value and transmits the image data and the circular destination cont value to the next circular destination, and when the circular destination count value reaches a preset threshold, the circular source is notified that the circular transmission has passed through.
