In a system executing a transaction by an ATM using a transaction card realized as a magnetic card and a non-contact type IC card, for example, when a trouble has occurred, it is possible to surely compare and judge a customer card and the card actually inserted. In order to eliminate the need of modification of the currently performed system operation method and education of bank staffs, in a storage unit (12) of the non-contact type IC card (10), image data about the external view of the IC card (10) is registered, so that this image data is read out to the ATM (20) side via a communication unit (11) when executing a transaction by the ATM (20).
