<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with a network environment wherein an apparatus that reads an image of an original and an apparatus that outputs the read image separately exist, by connecting an image reading apparatus and an image output apparatus via a network in a management apparatus in a network copy system or a network FAX system. <P>SOLUTION: The management apparatus performs processing operations including processes (S1-S3) for referring to an identifier of a user read out of an apparatus including an information holding function and access control information describing restrict conditions when the user uses the image reading apparatus or the image output apparatus, to acquire apparatus information of the image output apparatus allowed to be used for the user in the environment that the image reading apparatus and the image output apparatus are connected via the network, and processes (S4, S6, S7) for reporting the acquired apparatus information of the image output apparatus to the image reading apparatus allowed to be used for the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
