PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink jet head cleaning equipment capable of cleaning the ink channel of an ink jet head well. SOLUTION: The ink jet head cleaning equipment 20 immerses an ink jet head 1 into cleaning liquid in a head immersion container 21 containing the cleaning liquid and applying an ultrasonic vibration thereto, passes the cleaning liquid through the ink channel of the ink jet head 1 immersed into the cleaning liquid in a head immersion container 21 applied with an ultrasonic vibration, and then supplies gas through the ink channel of the ink jet head 1 pulled up from the cleaning liquid in the head immersion container 21 thus removing foreign substances in the ink channel of the ink jet head 1.
