PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for further rationalizing a combustion process of a mixture in a combustion type working tool without complicating a mechanism structure in vain. SOLUTION: This combustion type working tool has a combustion chamber 121 filled with combustible gas; an ignition device 131 provided in the combustion chamber 121; and a driving part for carrying out prescribed work using combustion pressure generated by burning the combustible gas in the combustion chamber 121 using the ignition device 131. An internal wall surface 129 where the ignition device 131 is disposed, out of the internal wall surface of the combustion chamber 121 is disposed in an opposed state to the driving part 151 and has a recessed portion to approach the driving part 151 side toward the peripheral edge of the internal wall surface 129.
