The optical fiber probe (1) has an optical fiber guided in a mechanical retainer (10). A fiber end piece (22) protrudes over the mechanical retainer and has optical components for guidance of measuring rays on the measuring object. A reflection zone (30) is arranged in the fiber for partial reflection of light rays guided in the fiber, where the reflection zone is arranged in the fiber end piece. The reflection zone is designed as reflection coating between two connected fiber pieces and is implemented as a Bragg lattice. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing of an optical fiber probe for interferometric measuring instrument.
